BOYS WINTER SPORTS ARE BASKETBALL, SWIM & DIVE, AND WRESTLING. GIRLS SPRING SPORTS ARE FASTPITCH SOFTBALL, GOLF, TENNIS AND TRACK & FIELD. BOYS SPRING SPORTS ARE BASEBALL, SOCCER AND TRACK & FIELD. ATHLETES WILL NEED A CURRENT PHYSICAL ON FILE FOR PARTICIPATION, PHYSICALS ARE VALID FOR TWO YEARS. STUDENTS MAY SIGN UP FOR TWO SPORTS (1 WINTER, 1 SPRING). ONE OF THOSE SPORTS MUST BE NO CONTACT AND THEY CANNOT BE TWO SPORTS THAT OTHERWISE OCCUR IN THE SAME SEASON. REGISTRATION INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS ARE POSTED ON THE KHS WEBSITE UNDER ATHLETICS. A PARTICIPATION FEE OF $50 PER SPORT IS REQUIRED AND THE STUDENT MUST HAVE A CURRENT ASB CARD. REGISTRATIONS WILL BE DENIED IF THE STUDENT HAS NOT PAID HIS OR HER FEES FOR SEASON ONE. On behalf of the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) and Gesa Credit Union, congratulations to LEXI GRUMBOIS on being named a WIAA/Gesa Credit Union State Athlete of the Week for the week of February 28th - March 6th, 2021.
Throughout the school year, the WIAA and Gesa Credit Union honor student-athletes each week from around the state. This award is designed to honor Washington’s best. Lexi has spent a great deal of time and energy and her participation requires dedication and discipline. The COVID-19 pandemic has created unprecedented challenges for our schools and our student-participants. This recognition is a testament to Lexi’s resilience, the passion for softball, and her contributions as an ambassador for Kelso High School and community. Great job Lexi!
