Come cheer on your Kelso Hilanders as the Boys Varsity Basketball Team takes on Timbline at home for their first Bi-District Play Off game this Saturday, February 10th at 6:00 PM.
As this is a Bi-District event, ticket prices will be $8 for Adults and Students without ASB and $6 for Seniors 65+, Students with ASB and children 5-13. Children under 5 are free. Advanced tickets can be purchased online through Go Fan at https://gofan.co/event/1388758?schoolId=WA100033 or at the door with cash or card. Please note, additional fees may apply for credit card payments and all purchases are non-refundable.
The fist 100 Kelso High School students will have FREE (sponsored) entry into the game with their current student ID card. Winter Family, Senior, and Employee passes are not valid for District play.
Doors will open one hour prior to game start time. Concessions will be available.
Kelso High School is hosting Fans In The Stands, a regional Unified basketball scrimmage event, TONIGHT, February 7th. Unified teams from Kelso, LaCenter, and Battle Ground will play 15-minute round robin games starting at 6:15 pm. As this is a blackout event, fans are encouraged to wear black in a show of support for our Unified teams. Other highlights of the evening include a photo booth for players and fans, and performances by Kelso High’s cheerleaders and pep band throughout the evening. Admission to the event is suggested donation or the purchase of a We Are Unified t-shirt. T-shirts are $15 and available for purchase through the Kelso High ASB office, which is open to the community Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 7:30 to noon and 2:30 to 3:15, and on Wednesdays from 7:30 to 1:15. February 7th is Unified Awareness Day at Kelso High. There will be posters up in the school, a Unified information table, lunch-time events, and more.

Kelso High School’s 5th Annual Teal Out for Team Jules Basketball games will be held Friday, February 2nd during the Girls Varsity Basketball game at 7:00 PM and Monday, February 5th during the Boys Varsity Basketball Game.
Kelso High School Pep Club students will be raising money for the Julia Hiatt Memorial Scholarship through the Kelso Public Schools Foundation to honor former Kelso High School graduate, Julia Hiatt who lost her battle with cancer in 2019. Julia had an enormous impact on the school and its culture. This scholarship will be granted to a Kelso student who, like Julia, makes Kelso High a better place for their peers, believes in doing good for others just for the sake of being kind and a person who inspires others through, not only their actions, but just by being who they are. There will be a Pass the Pot donation collection at Half Time.
These games will both be a Teal Out so wear as much TEAL or Gratitude Gear as you have and come support your Kelso Hilanders as the Girls take on the Heritage Timberwolves and the Boys take on Evergreen Plainsmen and join Team Jules and our efforts to honor Julia and her legacy and raise money for the scholarship in her name.
If you are unable to attend these games and would like to donate, donations to the Julia Hiatt Memorial Scholarship will be graciously accepted at the Kelso High School ASB office through February 29th and at all times at https://wa-kelso-lite.intouchreceipting.com/JuliaHiattMemorialScholarship or directly through the Kelso Public Schools Foundation.

Sports Update 1/18/24: Boys and Girls Basketball canceled 1/19, rescheduled for 1/22. Boys will host Prairie, Girls will travel to Prairie.
Due to the school closures caused by inclement weather, the Winter Ball Dance will be rescheduled to next Saturday, January 27th, in the KHS Commons from 7:30-10 PM. Tickets sales will resume at lunches and will be sold all next week at lunches in the commons and from 7:30-9 PM at the door to the dance. Tickets will not sell out.

Couples - $30 or $25 with an ASB
Singles - $20 or $15 with an ASB
