Kelso School District's continual goal is to have 100 percent of our students graduate high school. In 2024, our McKinney-Vento (students experiencing homelessness) seniors did just that.
Kelso's overall grad rate has been hovering around a respectable 90% since 2020, exceeding the state rate by 7or 8 points. By comparison, Washington's graduation rate for McKinney-Vento students was 63.2% in 2023 and 60.9% in 2022 (2024 state-wide data not available at the time of this writing). Achieving a 100% grad rate for our most vulnerable population of students is extraordinary. Many, many thanks to our incredible team for their dedication and support.
