For middle and high school students who chose to learn remotely via online lessons and don't already have a comparable device in their house, we will be checking out Chromebooks. Checkout dates and times are by grade level. Details for those, as well as the location for drive-through pickup, are below.

April 13, Monday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm | 11th and 12th grade students |
April 14, Tuesday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm | 10th grade students |
April 15, Wednesday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm | 9th grade students |
April 15, Wednesday | 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm | ANY STUDENT in Grades 9-12 who still needs a Chromebook |
Middle School Chromebook Checkout:
April 16, Thursday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm | 8th grade students |
April 17, Friday | 10:00 am to 1:00 pm | 6th and 7th grade students |
Location
The drive-through pickup location for all is the same: the school bus loop at Kelso High School. To properly manage checkout in drive-through fashion, cars must enter the KHS bus loop off of Tam O'Shanter Way (behind Rite-Aid) next to Sodendecker Field just outside of Tam O’Shanter Park. See map below.
Remain in your car and we will bring the Chromebook to you.
Xfinity Wi-Fi Free For Everyone
Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots located in businesses and outdoor locations across the country will be available to anyone who needs them for free – including non-Xfinity Internet subscribers. For a map of Xfinity Wi-Fi hotspots, visit www.xfinity.com/wifi and enter your zip code. Once at a hotspot, consumers should select the “xfinitywifi” network name in the list of available hotspots and then launch a browser.
