This message goes out to our families who drop off their student(s) in the morning. First of all, thank you to everyone who has been following our directions to keep all students safe! Unfortunately, we are having people drop off their student(s) in the wrong areas. This causes cars blocking traffic and students running throughout the parking lot.
As a reminder, these are our Blue Jay drop off expectations:
Cars will follow the flow of traffic all the way down to the playground fence. DO NOT let your child out up by the flagpole.
Students may exit the car once next to the fence.
If you choose to park, PLEASE walk your student to the sidewalk.
Thank you again to all that keep our Blue Jays safe!

Tomorrow is pajama day for our Blue Jays! Thank you to our two Trimester Blue Jay ticket winners, Blake and Jessica, for picking this fun day for us! If your child would like to participate please help them by reminding them that their pajamas need to follow our school clothing expectations. Please make sure they are wearing school appropriate shoes...no slippers!

11/29/22: The following buses will be on AM snow routes: 1, 3, 4, 15, 20, 26, 29 & 31. Please stay tuned for possible updates throughout the morning. Afternoon snow routes will be posted by 1:00 p.m. today.

Thank you to all our families that are working on keeping our Blue Jays safe. We appreciate everyone following our parking lot expectations for drop off and pick up. Also, thank you to those adults and sibling who walk to pick up their student(s) in being respectful and patient at dismissal.
Just a reminder: If you are dropping your student off in the morning, please wait until 8:15 so that we have adults on the playground to supervise. Also, we need all cars to use the drop off loop. Please do not have your student exit the car by the main entrance. All students need to exit vehicles by the fence line at the base of the loop.
If you have any questions regarding our drop off and pick up expectations, we ask that you reach out to Dr. Connolly or Mrs. Dahl.

It's the eve of the first day of school for our Blue Jays entering 1st-5th grade!
Here are a few reminders for the first day tomorrow (Wednesday):
Students can be dropped of starting at 8:15, please respect this time as we do not have staff available to monitor them before 8:15.
If you are dropping off your students, please stay in your vehicle as you come into our parking lot and around our loop. There will be an adult helping your child safely exit your vehicle. We encourage all students to exit on the passenger side for their safety.
School will be dismissed at 1:55. If you are picking up your child, please follow the same routine as morning drop off. If you are walking up ( you have notified the office/teacher) please stay in the designated area by the flag pole. The end of the day gets very busy and we need to keep our walkways cleared and assessable for our bus riders.
Please make sure you have communicated with the office if your pick up arrangement has changed. On Wednesdays we ask that you communicate that by 12:00.
We look forward to seeing all our amazing soaring Blue Jays!

Blue Jays tonight is the night! We can't wait to see all of you at our back to school night from 6:00-7:00 pm.
You'll have the opportunity to check out classrooms, interact with our fantastic staff, and check out some awesome community booths.
Also, parents and families can even leave a special "tweet" for their child on our grade level Tweet Board located by the library!
It's going to be a great school year and gooooooo BLUE JAYS!
