Results from the October 2020 survey show learning and engagement have improved this fall for both remote and hybrid students, but sense of well-being varies between the two groups.
Learning and Engagement for KVA and Grades 3-12 (in full remote)
- 82% of parents/caregivers feel it is better this fall than in the spring for full remote
- 75% of students feel it is better this fall than in the spring for full remote
- 95% of KSD staff feel it is better this fall than in the spring for full remote
Learning and Engagement for Grades K-2 (in hybrid)
- 83% of parents/caregivers feel it is better in hybrid than it was in remote
- 95% of KSD certificated staff feel it is better in hybrid than it was in remote
Sense of well-being (you / your child) for KVA and Grades 3-12 (in full remote)
- 29% of parents/caregivers feel it is improved in full remote
- 31% of students feel it is improved in full remote
- 41% of KSD staff feel it is improved in full remote
Sense of well-being (you / your child) for Grades K-2 (in hybrid)
- 85% of parents/caregivers feel it is improved since returning to school in-person two days a week
