Barnes Elementary is thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Kelso Rotary Club for their generous donation of dictionaries to every 3rd-grade student. Your support inspires our Bears to embrace the joy of reading and the power of words.
Our hope is that every Bear will use their new dictionary as a stepping stone to literacy, much like Malcolm X did over 60 years ago. With this gift, our students are one step closer to achieving their lifetime goal of learning to read, write, and speak with confidence and competence.
